Candy, Food Allergy, and Dietary Restriction Disclaimer

IMPORTANT ALLERGEN WARNING: InstaMom University care packages may contain candy, snacks, beverages, or other food products containing—or manufactured, processed, or packaged in facilities that handle—milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans, sesame, and other ingredients capable of causing allergic reactions, food sensitivities, or adverse health effects.

InstaMom University is not an allergen-free business or facility. Products containing different ingredients may be stored, handled, assembled, or shipped in the same general environment. We cannot guarantee that any care package, food item, packaging material, surface, or shipping container is completely free from allergens or allergen cross-contact.

Most food products included in our care packages are individually packaged and labeled by their original manufacturers. Ingredient lists, allergen statements, nutritional information, manufacturing practices, and product formulations are supplied and controlled by those manufacturers and may change without notice. The information printed on the individual product's packaging controls and should always be reviewed before consumption.

Customer and recipient responsibility

The purchaser is responsible for determining whether a care package is appropriate for its intended recipient. The purchaser must disclose known allergies or dietary restrictions when ordering and must notify the recipient that the package may contain allergens.

The recipient is solely responsible for:

• Reading the complete ingredient list and allergen statement on every individual product before consuming it.
• Confirming that the product is safe in light of the recipient's allergies, sensitivities, dietary restrictions, medications, medical conditions, religious requirements, and personal preferences.
• Contacting the product manufacturer directly if an ingredient, allergen warning, or manufacturing statement is missing, unclear, or incomplete.
• Refraining from consuming any product with damaged, opened, altered, missing, illegible, or unfamiliar packaging.
• Consulting a physician or other qualified healthcare professional when uncertain whether a product is safe.

DO NOT CONSUME ANY FOOD PRODUCT IF YOU HAVE A KNOWN OR SUSPECTED ALLERGY AND CANNOT CONFIRM THAT THE PRODUCT IS SAFE FOR YOU.

Limitation of responsibility

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INSTAMOM UNIVERSITY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ALLERGIC REACTIONS, FOOD SENSITIVITIES, INTOLERANCES, ILLNESS, INJURY, MEDICAL EXPENSES, OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE PURCHASE, RECEIPT, HANDLING, SHARING, OR CONSUMPTION OF ANY CANDY, SNACK, BEVERAGE, OR OTHER FOOD PRODUCT INCLUDED IN A CARE PACKAGE.

INSTAMOM UNIVERSITY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR A PURCHASER'S FAILURE TO DISCLOSE AN ALLERGY OR DIETARY RESTRICTION, A RECIPIENT'S FAILURE TO READ OR FOLLOW A PRODUCT LABEL, CHANGES MADE BY A PRODUCT MANUFACTURER, OR ALLERGEN CROSS-CONTACT OCCURRING DURING MANUFACTURING, PACKAGING, STORAGE, SHIPPING, OR HANDLING BY THIRD PARTIES.

Dietary requests—including requests for products described as nut-free, peanut-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian, kosher, halal, sugar-free, or otherwise restricted—are handled only when expressly accepted by InstaMom University in writing. A dietary request or product description is not a guarantee that a product is medically safe or completely free from allergens or cross-contact.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Additional candy safety notice

Candy and snack products may present choking, dental, melting, spoilage, or other risks. Products should be stored according to manufacturer instructions and kept away from young children, pets, excessive heat, and moisture. InstaMom University is not responsible for damage or injury caused by improper storage, misuse, sharing with an unintended recipient, consumption after the manufacturer's recommended date, or failure to follow package instructions.

By purchasing, accepting, or consuming food products supplied in an InstaMom University care package, the purchaser and recipient acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for reviewing all product labels before consumption.
